Christopher Anthony’s Blog

A Girl, Tree, Sunset, and Clown

I really can’t tell you why… But lately I’ve been infatuated with my daybook and writing most of my blog entries from it. But fear not! I will begin posting other random stuff again! It’s a filmmakers mind… really? What do you expect!?!?!

Okay, so this daybook entry called for a story written by us of which had to include a girl, tree, sunset, clown, AND dog. But I forgot the dog. Which, by the way, is easily fixed but I’d rather keep the story as it was when I read it to the class.

Here it is: 100_0356

The sun’s golden main was now half hidden from view as Mitchel and Isabella sit perched upon the masculine tan arm of the autumn tree. Magic filled the air as Mitchel looked down at the brass earth below and said, “Isabella, today was amazing. The smile on your face at the Fall Festival, the way you spoke so gentle and innocent at lunch, and now the way your emerald eyes look into mine as I speak before you.” Isabella became lost in the words like a ship with no motor in calm waters. Lost, as the ship is, beauty surrounds it’s ever guest. With this Mitchel continued as he one again gazed upon the leaf filled ground below, “Take a look below us, there is something I want you to see.” And with this Isabella’s emerald green eyes shifted from the image of Mitchel with a sepia tone glow his body’s every line and curve, to the rustic ground below. Out from a bush popped a clown for whom held a sign as he ran. Once still he paused, darted his head upward, and with it the sign that read, “Will you be my girlfriend?”
